Our Pastors
Steve & Suzanne
Hi! We are Steve & Suzanne and we are the founding Pastors of Life Church in Poole.
We have 3 daughters, 2 Son-in-Law’s and 5 Grandchildren – we love our family.
We also love and believe in the Church of Jesus Christ and Life Church was birthed out of a vision and a call from God and began in 1993 in our own home.
We love and are passionate about the Presence of God. It is His presence we seek as we gather and we gather around Him.
We are changed in His presence as we minister to Him. It’s all about Him!
Our heart is to raise up Disciples, those who will live for and serve Jesus, reaching the lost, not just on a Sunday but every day and hour of the week.
We are committed to making sure that every believer knows who they are in Christ and the authority that we as Christians are able to walk in. We so want to see people become all that God says they can be and to walk in the freedom He says we can.
We love people and our desire was never to build an organisation, nor to plant a service but to grow a family of believers who together would make a difference to the generation to which we are called.
Life Church is a family of believers made up from people from every walk of life, from many different backgrounds and from many different Nations. We are a Church for All Nations! We love it!
We are here to help, encourage, equip and empower you.

Our Values
We are Christ Centred and Presence Focused. We acknowledge that Jesus is the head of His Church and we, therefore, do our best to make sure He is at the centre of all we do and every decision that is made.
We treasure the Presence of God as we gather together and we make room for Him to
move. We believe that His presence is available to each of us in every situation as we carry
His presence with us daily.

Worship
Worship should be a lifestyle for every believer and that our whole lives should be lives lived in worship to God. We are created to worship. Everything we do should be an act of worship.
Word of God
Through His Word we see who He is and who we are. It is our source of truth and is the final authority by which we live.
Prayer
Nothing happens apart from God. Prayer is part of our lives both individually and together. We believe in God and that nothing is impossible for Him.
Community
We are not meant to live life alone. We are not islands. God has provided a family of believers that we get to do life with. Community strengthens us and causes our lives to be blessed and enriched. We love the House and family of God. Honour is important to us at Life Church and together we take ownership and responsibility for our lives and the life and mission of this House. We do this together, as one family, united, because we know that we are better together.
Generosity
In serving and in giving. Living lives of generosity, humility and surrender are key to foundations to our lives in Christ. We serve and give with excellence, enthusiasm and with great joy as it is honourable that way to both one another an to God and it is Him we ultimately serve. We give our best because God gave His best!
Love
Love is noticed by God and by others. Our first love belongs to Him – we love Him with our whole heaart, soul and mind and then we love one another as Jesus commanded us to as His disciples and as we would like to be loved ourselves and so we value love, honour and humility. Let love be seen!
Outreach
We are called to make known the things of God to those who have not yet found Him. So we look for ways to connect people to Jesus.
